Where to Go First

Here are five greenways to check out:

1. Third Creek Greenway

A beautiful, wooded trail that stretches from downtown to West Knoxville. It connects with several parks and the University of Tennessee campus.

2. Bearden Village Greenway

This West Knoxville trail links neighborhoods with parks and shopping areas. It’s great for morning walks and runs.

3. Lakeshore Greenway

Located inside Lakeshore Park, this greenway has stunning views of the Tennessee River and Smoky Mountains. A favorite for families and evening strolls.

4. Will Skelton Greenway

One of Knoxville’s most scenic riverfront trails. It runs through South Knoxville near Ijams Nature Center.

5. Sequoyah Hills Greenway

A peaceful greenway that runs along Cherokee Boulevard in Sequoyah Hills is lined with trees and historic homes.
